I was lucky enough to interview our newest addition, Marijane will be learning our ways and adding her own strengths and styles this summer as our scedule fills out. She is bringing her love of people and portraits to join us as we move into our new location in May, just up the road in Kitty Hawk. Look for our new spot in Ocean Plaza near Great Cakes Bakery and The Romance Store to be complete by June 1st!

Katelyn came down from Ohio and we got to play over at the beach, Bodie light, and down at the Inlet – even ended with one with her Mom.

We are so lucky to have a bunch of repeat customers every year (though it can be a challenge to come up with something different!) and Sarah and Josh are welcome sights, with two beautiful kids (and cousin) and all the love in the world. Hope it shows. Great to see you again! Biff

Short but sweet! Amy and Dean had a family cermony at a nice place in 4 wheel territory with absolutely amazing light – and they just wanted me to be as creative as possible and do a few black and whites, too, so I had an blast doing these for them. The only thing nicer than the light was the bride – Dean is one lucky fellow…

This week is the first week of the summer season and I had some great folks so far – Sally Prahl had a friend do her a gift certificate for a sitting down in Avon. Very Cool!

And Krista Potero called for a morning sitting in Duck and we had nice cool fog that wrapped the soft light around the gang, and I got to shoot a really sweet one of the sisters – well, maybe more than one

I wish my sister and I had been this tight at that age!

The kids were running up a dune and I saw the birds coming - I think Mom is going to love this one.
